Blue Butterfly...bead embroidered necklace, collar and matching earrings

Blue Butterfly…bead embroidered necklace, collar and matching earrings

Blue Butterfly was created around an extraordinary blue stone that has been surrounded with antique colored gold. There are also pearlized shell pieces that suggested the other shades of blue that are carried through out the neckpiece. Many sizes of beads and drops are used for dimension and contour. The collar is entirely backed and closes with a strong magnetic clasp.

Roses are Red...bead embroidered collar, necklace

Roses are Red…bead embroidered collar, necklace

French beading produced the rose which was then applied  to the bead embroidery back ground. Drops of red were the finishing touch. The neck piece is backed entirely with soft, supple leather and closes with an embellished center stone and two strong magnets.

The Midas Touch...bead embroidered necklace, collar plus matching earrings

The Midas Touch…bead embroidered necklace, collar plus matching earrings

The Midas touch has yet another wonderful labradorite stone center stage. I just love these stones, they have so much life and color change when seen from different angles. To add accent, two ammonite fossils have been used. They have been surrounded with metal beads that have an antique golden finish. In fact antique gold can be seen through out the collar, hence the name of the piece.
