 Website/blog:
Hi there!  My name is Hannah Rosner.
I specialize in handmade jewelry, purses, glasswork and lampwork beads. I teach beadweaving and lampworking techniques, and many of my tutorials are available for purchase in my Etsy store. Hannah_Rosner_2
I began teaching both lampworking and beadweaving in 2000 and have taught at bead stores and bead societies across the US. In June 2013 I will be presenting both lampworking and beadweaving classes at the Bead & Button show.
How long have you been beading? +15 years
When did you first try bead embroidery as a technique?
Over 15 years.  I can’t even remember my first piece!
Why do you like bead embroidery?
I like that the piece evolves as I work and I can make choices as I go along.

What are your inspirations and influences?  I’m really inspired by natural textures, forms and highly saturated color.
What are your favorite materials?  Japanese seed beads, semiprecious stone, crystal and handmade/artisan lampwork glass.
What defines your style?
Friends often joke that my pieces have an overabundance of texture and fringe.
What are your future goals with beading?
Wow, that’s a tough one because my original goal was to teach for Bead & Button.  This upcoming year I’ll be teaching a section each of my Garden Trellis bracelet (image #3) and of lampworked glass flower beads, and two sections of soutache bead embroidery.  I guess the next thing is to see my work published in a book!

Hannah, you excel in so many areas within the the “bead community”: lampwork, souchache, bead embroidery and bead weaving. I do look forward to viewing your work published one day soon and congratulations on teaching at B &B
